Aw…look, a hidden Mickey and everything!
I had made a home-made quiche recently, and I mentioned I made a mock Niçoise salad the next day to go with the left overs. I was basing my home-made salad on this one here, from Les Chefs de France in Epcot. I haven’t had this salad anywhere else, so my knowledge of this dish is based on exactly what is seen above in the photo.
I basically made a similar salad with ingredients I did have at home, like green olives, asparagus, and sardines instead of Niçoise olives, green beans, and anchovy. I’m not a huge fan of anchovies, which are in this salad. I do like olives, egg, and seared tuna.
It was fun to try to make some French food at home. 🙂
