Flipping through my Cooking with Mickey around the world Cookbook and found this recipe.  Sounds pretty good to me, not sure when I’ll have an occasion to make a gallon of punch, but I thought I’d share the recipe nonetheless.  If you happen to try it, please let me know how you liked it in the comments section.

~Tavern Lemon Sherbet Punch~

Ingredients:

Juice from 4 lemons

2 quarts lemon sherbet

2 quarts club soda

Ice

Fresh strawberries

Straws

Blend lemon juice, sherbetand club soda thoroughly. Serve at once over ice in stemmed glasses, garnished with a fresh strawberry and a straw.  Makes 1 gallon or 25 5-ounce servings.
